Founder couple Prateek & Mugdha Bhagchandka launched M.O.M Meal of the Moment in early 2017 with a simple mission – to provide convenient home style meals primarily to the millenials not lucky enough to be currently living with their mothers.
Both Prateek & Mugdha had spent a few years studying in the UK and often yearned for a home style Dal Chawal or Poha but none of the available options ever hit the spot! Years later when they met and happened to discuss their time abroad and their common longing for these comforting home meals, they knew this was a gap in the market worth exploring because there was a very large number of people in India too that didn't have the luxury of a home cooked meal at least some of the time.
The next couple of years were spent on R&D and building out a state of the art facility to manufacture the instant meals that can truly classify as mom made – yummy and without any added preservatives or artificial flavours. After launching in 2017 the brand has been growing at a steady clip and is now available at over 5000 stores nation wide as well as on leading airlines, cinema chains and various other points.
The year 2020 marked the brand’s foray into the healthy snacking category. In the years to come, the brand has a vision is to provide healthy and convenient food and beverage options that a mom would truly love to offer her loved ones.
